New Law update 2016 Requires Salary Employees to Keep Hours

Parliament has introduced new laws that mandate salary employees hours must be kept. The rationale behind this law, is it is to keep employers from exploiting their staff and effectively paying less than minimum wage. However, small businesses are the most likely to be hurt by this law, as for some salary positions it is nearly impossible to track all of the hours done in a day. Perhaps the government should be protecting small businesses instead of listening to corporate lobbyists.
